Air Charter's rental aircraft is a Piper Warrior II, FAA certified for VFR and IFR operation, carefully maintained by our professional staff.  It is available to qualified pilots (as determined by our chief pilot) on a per hour basis, fuel and insurance included.  It may also be used for primary and advanced single-engine instruction (by independent flight instructors approved by our chief pilot) and for FAA check rides.  Block time rates are available for flight instruction.

Scenic Flights

See your home, business, seasonal foliage, or the city from the air!  One of our experienced, professional pilots will take you for an exciting ride around the Washington area to see the sights.  Our Piper Warrior (see picture above) can carry up to two adults (weight and size restrictions apply).  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Advance reservations a must.  We may have to reschedule due to operational requirements, government restrictions, or weather conditions.  If this occurs we will try to let you know, but these conditions can occur without notice.

Gift certificates are available.  A scenic flight is a great gift idea for Christmas, birthdays, or any other occasion.

Introductory Flights

If you are considering becoming a pilot, or if you would like to know what it's like to fly an airplane, we have just the offer for you!  A real "hands on" experience in our Piper Warrior.  An FAA licensed pilot will guide you through a routine pre-flight inspection of the airplane (as required by all pilots), then you will board the aircraft and sit in the "left seat" while the pilot guides and assists you through a complete flight operation.  Once airborne, you will actually fly the airplane! 

Like the scenic flight above, this is a great gift idea for any aspiring pilot, or anyone who would just enjoy the experience of hands-on flight.
